Visit WWII History At Cowra Australia

Cowra, in country New South Wales, might look like an innocuous, little country city, but is actually the location of one of Australia's most famous WWII events. It also encourages visitors to explore a little bit farther afield in the area, to incorporate other sites of historical significance.

It is to be questioned if most Australians are conscious of what occurred at Cowra during WWII, and if they are it is a dodgy understanding at the very best. The world knows what has happened to Australians in Japanese POW camps nonetheless , the same can't be asserted about what has happened to the Japanese at the Australian POW camp at Cowra. So go and explore some Australian army history at Cowra and maybe you will unearth a few techniques.
